Moving of BT Master Socket and Increase in Broadband Connection Speed

Paul Aldred is delighted with Fixafault’s help with moving the master telephone socket nearer to the router and increasing his broadband connection speed.
We wanted to decorate our hall, and asked Simon to move our main boxes out of sight and I wanted the master socket moved into my lounge to directly link it to my router.
We didn’t know you could get a new type of master that improved broadband speed. What Simon fitted has increased our speed from around 5.8mbs to 11.5mbs. An excellent job and an unexpected huge speed increase as well, thanks Simon.
No More Faulty Telephone Extensions

I am always a little anxious when finding engineers on the internet but I have to say Simon came and fixed the issue I was having with Broadband and re-connected the faulty telephone extensions. Simon was prompt and a genuinely nice guy, definite personal touch which is great and really appreciated. At a far more reasonably price than some of the Multi National companies… . Thanks again for all of your help.

Simon, thanks for coming out to see me in Leeds. I spoke to the telephone company like you said and got a password. Once I worked out what I needed to reset the router I got back on line in less than 20 mins. I was really impressed that you tried to help me over the phone in the first instance rather than rushing out and charging me. That made me want to come back to you again when I established I could not fix it myself. Thanks for all your help, you were friendly, efficient and good value for money. Cheers Ross

Increasing Broadband Speed and Saving Money

Nick Hardcastle thoroughly recommends Fixafault after we increased his broadband speed and saved him money.
I contacted Simon after putting a screw through my phone cable and then being told it would be £155 just to get British Telecom through the door!! Simon turned up on the day EARLY (how often does that happen these days!) and provided a very friendly and professional service. Simon thoroughly knows his stuff and was even able to improve my broadband speed using a more up-to-date phone point!
I would thoroughly recommend Fixafault to anyone and everyone, and Simon will certainly be the first person I contact in the future should I ever have problems again. Saved me a ton of cash too! 10/10!
